Hello, my name is Patty Premo. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, with my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My primary approach to counseling is an integration of EMDR, person-centered, mindfulness-based, and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). My scope of practice includes working with adults, couples, families, and teens struggling to cope with mood challenges, grief, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and difficulty adjusting to life stressors/challenges.

My belief is that the relationship between you as the client, and me as your therapist is essential to your positive experience in therapy. My approach to counseling is from a genuine, empathetic place in tuned with the uniqueness of each individual. I strive to provide a helping relationship that is based on collaboration, trust, respect, genuineness, and a holistic understanding of the client. All in a safe, supportive, non-judgmental setting.

I am here to help you identify goals and potential solutions to problems causing current emotional turmoil.  I support your desire to improve your relationships, assist in improving communication, managing your emotions and reactions to life stressors. Together we work on you developing and practicing skills to achieve optimal mental wellness.

I recognize the important step you have taken to reach out for help and consider it an honor to work with you. I look forward to helping you find that balance and peace you are seeking.
